Scripture directs our attention to the true nature of worship. We often think God’s mercy toward us is about the things we confess — but He says mercy is measured by how we treat others.
The stranger. The enemy. The hungry. The cold. The one who has nothing to offer us.
Are they hungry? Do we feed them? Are they thirsty? Do we give them something to drink? Do we see their suffering — or do we wave and say, “Have a good day”? Do we see how they’re dressed and judge them?
